From Mentor to Author - Why I Created the Parallel Ventures Series
For years, I've mentored aspiring entrepreneurs—people with drive, grit, and vision, but also deep uncertainty. Most weren't chasing unicorns or Silicon Valley dreams. They were looking to build something meaningful, sustainable, and truly their own. Again and again, I saw them grappling with the same questions: Is my idea worth pursuing? How do I build traction? What's the right revenue model? When should I scale?
To support these journeys, I developed the Parallel Ventures Startup Framework - a structured, stage-wise approach to help founders move from clarity to action. It's the foundation I now use in my 1-on-1 guidance sessions, enabling entrepreneurs to cut through overwhelm and navigate their unique paths with intention.
But I wanted to take this further—to make these insights more widely accessible.
That's how the Parallel Ventures book series came to life.
While the entire series mirrors the full arc of entrepreneurship, I realised that trying to cover everything in one book would dilute its usefulness. So I split it into distinct, focused books—each aligned to a specific phase of the founder's journey.
Book 1: Turning Ideas into Ventures and Revenues helps you start strong—refining your idea, validating demand, finding your first customers, and unlocking early revenue.
Book 2: Scaling Ventures and Creating Legacies focuses on growth, team building, financial planning, and the deeper mindset shifts needed to build a lasting business.
More books will follow, as the journey unfolds.
Parallel Ventures isn't just a collection of lessons. It's a reflection of what I've seen, learned, and shared—infused with real-world experience, structured guidance, and the lived journeys of founders like Priya and Rohan. I hope it meets you wherever you are—and helps you move forward, one clear step at a time.
Unlike most startup books that talk about theories, Parallel Ventures is filled with real, actionable insights. Every chapter feels like a masterclass in entrepreneurship, guiding you step by step through the journey of building a successful business.

What I loved most about Parallel Ventures is its storytelling approach. Following Priya and Rohan's journey made the insights incredibly relatable. It felt like I was learning from real entrepreneurs rather than just reading another business book.
